From Franny Syufy, your Guide to Cats

It's been a wild and crazy week, with triple digit temps, and I had a wonderful and welcome surprise this morning when huge raindrops fell on my deck outside while I sat there with my morning wake-up O.J.

I hope your week ahead will be wonderful, if not wild, so give your kitties some huggles from me. You might also consider passing on this newsletter to friends, or give them the link below.

Cat Personality Types

How much do you really understand about your cat's personality? Is he an Alpha cat, or shy and withdrawn? Is she mercurial, so you don't know from one minute to the next whether she will be outgoing and playful, or quiet, almost to the point of being depressed? Cat Picture of the Week: Coco

Our second Cat of the Week for July is Coco, another sumptuously beautiful calico girl. Coco was dumped in a box in front of a pet store, having just given birth to kittens. The irresponsible person who left her there couldn't be bothered with her, but a local rescue group could, and LucyB, her adoptive mom definitely could.

Lucy describes her Coco as lazy, but quite vocal and demanding of her way, and that she loves to eat - so much that they're watching her weight after having a diabetes scare. Read more of Coco's story, and if you have a calico girl with a great story, you can post your own by following the link.
