Coming Soon – Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week Sep 16th 2011, 03:00 September 17, 2011 kicks off PetFinder.com’s annual Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week. Keep in mind these pets aren’t really unadoptable. They’re just waiting for the right person to come along. They’re the pets that are often overlooked at the pounds, shelters and rescues. They may be overlooked for many different reasons – they’re old, they’re the wrong breed, they’re the wrong color, they have special needs. But they all share one thing in common. They need someone to love them and give them a good forever home. I’ll leave you with two links to think about. The first is a poem title “I Rescued a Human Today” because it moves me every time I read it and it seems appropriate to this purpose. The second is a link to PetFinder’s gallery of pets who need a little extra help finding their forever homes.
