To those who either admired the innovative "rescued cat village" called Caboodle Ranch, or abhorred the practices if its owner, Craig Grant, the shutting down of Caboodle Ranch and the arrest of Craig Grant on felony charges made a huge impact on our memories of 2012. Other memories may be fabricated of strictly fun stuff, such as several new iPod games for cats and their humans to share. Maisie, this week's Cat of the Week, was a cute kitten of about 15 weeks old, according to the shelter where she was adopted in October 2012. Another older kitten in the house, Mitzi, now has a feline companion to keep her company - living proof that two kittens are better than one. Maisie is an affectionate, playful kitten, and everyone is happy that she is no longer caged in a shelter.
