Here, then is my tribute to some special cats I'm thankful to have known. You will also be able to post your own Thanksgiving tribute to cats you have known and loved, with an easy form. Read more | Cat Picture of the Week: Maia This week's Cat Picture of the Week is Maia, a stunning nine year old tortoise kitty who lives in Australia with her adopted Mom, Balbrenny.
Maia and a male gray and white littermate were taken in by Balbrenny when they were only four weeks old, and bottle-fed by her, and have been with her ever since. They're not without other four-legged companionship, however Maia, showing typical tortitude, shows even the dogs (a Staffordshire Terrier and a Rottweiler) who's boss in the household. Maia has a soft side too, and is very devoted to her mom.
